EASL 2010 version :

• Now 2,600+ authors and 500,000+ publications
• Improved algorithms (articles detection, first publication date, h-index)
• Source for h-index is Google Scholar, while all other information now come from PubMed/MedLine
• List of journals we include and exclude is now public
• Very fast browsing experience, due to major investment in cutting-edge servers farm
• More and more information on author's pages : distribution of publication types, articles, timeline, etc.

HepaTop is still not perfect but certainly more and more significant ! We do our best to keep on improving hepatop.com, thank you for your consideration and once again we apologize for the remaining failures.

Version 2.0

• One page with all information per author
• Articles abstracts available on hepatop.com

Version 1.0 final

Nov 2009 - AASLD Boston

Very first public version was released during AASLD'09, in Boston. Only 568 authors were included in this initial version.

Version 0.1 alpha

Proof of concept, based on a custom engine asking Google Scholar. R&D team decided to make a public version, for AASLD standing only 2 weeks later (yes, we like challenges). Initial idea from Batard-Montrachet 1999.

Tested with a very small subset of french and american hepatologists.
